Volleyball Recap: Argyle Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Argyle won the last time they faced Warrensburg and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Scots came out on top against the Burgers by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 22-25, 25-11, 26-24.

Lacy Kingsley was the offensive standout of the contest as she had four digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Argyle was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Warrensburg only served nine.

When it comes to explaining why Warrensburg lost, don't look at Riley Huck. Despite the final result, she had 23 digs and three aces. Huck has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more digs the last 11 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahni Nix, who had 25 assists.

Argyle pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Warrensburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Argyle has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Hartford Central on the 10th. As for Warrensburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Granville on the 10th.
