The Exeter Township Eagles will head out to  challenge the J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado  at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. Exeter Township is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2  runs per game  this season.
Exeter Township's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Wednesday's  struggle, when Wilson hitters got past them. Exeter Township took  an  11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wilson on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
  Brenton Feathers was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.  Jake Franek also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
 Meanwhile, J.P. McCaskey was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  11-4 to Octorara Area.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Exeter Township  fell to 3-1. As for J.P. McCaskey, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.
 Exeter Township skirted past J.P. McCaskey  4-2 in their previous meeting  back in April of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for Exeter Township since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
