Volleyball Recap: Colonie Central's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Colonie Central proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Niskayuna Silver Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolfpack have posted since September 9th.

Colonie Central was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (107-106), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 25-21, 21-25, 16-14.

Colonie Central's win ended a six-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Niskayuna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7-1.
