Basketball Recap: Silver Stage Comes Up Short

Silver Stage lost against Yerington back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Silver Stage Nighthawks were dealt a 49-13 loss at the hands of the Yerington Lions. The contest marked the Nighthawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Silver Stage's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Yerington, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

Silver Stage will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Battle Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Yerington and South Tahoe will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
