Softball Recap: York Comes Up Short

York and Gray Collegiate Academy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but York had to settle for second. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the War Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-0 defeat on Wednesday.

Marisa Reyes was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

This is the second loss in a row for York and nudges their season record down to 25-5. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 24 of their last 26 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-3 record this season.

As of now, neither York nor Gray Collegiate Academy have any future games scheduled.
