Raleigh Charter is 9-1 against Franklin Academy since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Raleigh Charter Phoenix will head out on the road to face off against the Franklin Academy Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Raleigh Charter is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
While Raleigh Charter couldn't quite beat East Wake Academy on Tuesday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 31-point defeat they were dealt last Friday. Raleigh Charter fell just short of East Wake Academy by a score of 36-34.
Meanwhile, Franklin Academy was the victim of a rough 61-39 loss at the hands of Falls Lake on Friday. Franklin Academy has not had much luck with Falls Lake recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Raleigh Charter has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Franklin Academy, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
Raleigh Charter skirted past Franklin Academy 39-37 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Raleigh Charter since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
