Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson City). They never let the Sacred Heart Gremlins get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Jefferson City needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Jefferson City pushed their record up to 6-5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three contests. As for Sacred Heart, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Jefferson City has already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against La Monte on the 16th. As for Sacred Heart, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Warrensburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
