Topsail is a perfect 10-0 against North Brunswick since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pirates will host the Scorpions at 6:00 p.m. Topsail is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Topsail is headed into Tuesday's contest following a draw, the team's first since August 15. Neither they nor New Hanover could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Topsail had to tread lightly for part of the matchup as three Topsail players were handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Jax Lawrence and Timmy Hiles scored both of Topsail's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Meanwhile, North Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to Laney. While losing is never fun, North Brunswick can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 310th, while Laney are ranked 11th).

Topsail's draw makes their record 8-7-3 this season. As for North Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11-1.

Everything went Topsail's way against North Brunswick when the teams last played back in September, as Topsail made off with a 4-0 victory. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Scorpions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
