Volleyball Recap: Sumiton Christian Comes Up Short

Sumiton Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Fayette County Tigers. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sumiton Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fayette County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Sumiton Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against West Morgan on the 23rd. As for Fayette County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cherokee County on the 23rd.
