Softball Recap: Yellow Medicine East Comes Up Short

Yellow Medicine East fell victim to Minneota and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. If the Sting were looking for revenge after losing 12-2 to the Vikings when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Yellow Medicine East's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Minneota, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Yellow Medicine East will head out on the road to challenge Benson at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minneota, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Russell-Tyler-Ruthton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
