Volleyball Game Preview: Aquinas Falcons vs. Indian Springs COYOTES

The Aquinas Falcons will take on the Indian Springs COYOTES in a tournament on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Aquinas took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Perris. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Aquinas was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 22-25, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Indian Springs came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Tahquitz with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

Indian Springs walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12, 25-16.

Aquinas' record is now 7-3. As for Indian Springs, their record is now 2-6.

Aquinas took their victory against Indian Springs in their previous meeting on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aquinas since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
