Soccer Game Preview: Chester vs. Eau Claire

The Chester Cyclones are taking a road trip to square off against the Eau Claire Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chester's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Chester came up short against Mid-Carolina on Friday, falling 11-1. While losing is never fun, Chester can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 194th, while Mid-Carolina are ranked 50th).

Meanwhile, Eau Claire was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Mid-Carolina.

Chester's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Eau Claire, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
