Softball Game Preview: Eastern Ramblers vs. Coolidge Colts

The Eastern Ramblers will face off against the Coolidge Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Eastern has three straight wins, Coolidge has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Eastern played against Ballou on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

Back in March, Coolidge didn't have quite enough to beat Bell and fell 8-7.

Coolidge got a big performance out of Briana Steve, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyaira Anderson, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Eastern now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Coolidge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Eastern came out on top in a nail-biter against Coolidge when the teams last played back in April of 2025, sneaking past 12-11. Do the Ramblers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Colts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
