Baseball Recap: Mt. Baker Takes a Loss

Mt. Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 25-5 to the Oak Harbor Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Mountaineers have lost by exactly 20 runs.

Mt. Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Oak Harbor, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Baker will host Mount Vernon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mountaineers will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Oak Harbor, they will welcome Squalicum at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Storm at the right time seeing as the Storm are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
