Ridgefield is 8-2 against Mark Morris since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Spudders will look to defend their home field against the Monarchs at 4:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Ridgefield let Washougal stack four runs on them in the fourth inning on Monday but luckily Ridgefield prevailed anyway. The Spudders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spudders have posted since March 22nd.

Meanwhile, Mark Morris had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They skirted past the Beavers 6-4.

The win made it two in a row for Ridgefield and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Mark Morris, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Everything went Ridgefield's way against Mark Morris in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Ridgefield made off with a 6-0 victory. Do the Spudders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Monarchs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
