Baseball Recap: Prairieville Takes a Loss

Prairieville lost against Dutchtown last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Prairieville Hurricanes fell just short of the Dutchtown Griffins by a score of 3-2. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairieville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Dutchtown, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Prairieville will square off against East Ascension at 1:00 p.m. on March 22nd. Prairieville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so East Ascension's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dutchtown, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-1 victory against St. Amant on the 18th.
