Football Recap: Deary Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Deary faced Potlatch in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Mustangs were beaten by the Loggers 60-20. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Loggers: they've now lost five in a row.

Deary's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jacob Mechling, who picked up 130 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Jarrett Keen, who rushed for 67 yards and one score. Mechling was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 50 yards. Cooper Dammerman got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

As for Potlatch, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Kendrick at 7:00 p.m. The Loggers will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
