Football Recap: Lodi Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lodi had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it six. They came up short against the Pleasant Grove Eagles, falling 43-22. The game was a 15-15 toss-up at halftime, but the Flames couldn't quite close it out.

As for Pleasant Grove, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 31.0 points this season.

Ivan Saeyang was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 96 yards on only 11 carries, and also threw for 67 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Hekili Hernandez, who rushed for 92 yards on only seven carries.

Looking ahead, Lodi will host Los Banos at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Pleasant Grove, they will head out to challenge Tokay at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
