Soccer Recap: West Sioux Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, West Sioux was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of the Sheldon Orabs by a score of 2-1. West Sioux were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Sheldon earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

West Sioux has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Sheldon, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

West Sioux didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Sibley-Ocheyedan on the 1st. As for Sheldon, they will welcome Sioux Center at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
