Cocke County and Northview Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cocke County had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Northview Academy Cougars by a score of 53-50. The Fighting Cocks' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Cocke County still got an impressive performance from Blakelyn Clevenger, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 22 points. That's the most points Clevenger has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Karmine Carmichael, who put up ten points.
