Baseball Game Preview: Larkin Royals vs. Glenbard North Panthers

The Larkin Royals will venture away from home to square off against the Glenbard North Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Larkin is looking for their season's first win.

On Tuesday, Larkin came up short against Metea Valley and fell 7-2.

Larkin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Gasca, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Omar Garnica also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Glenbard North started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Rolling Meadows. They came up short against the Mustangs on Monday, falling 13-5. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Glenbard North now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Larkin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Larkin might still be hurting after the 15-5 defeat they got from Glenbard North in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
