Volleyball Recap: Vanguard Academy Takes a Loss

Vanguard Academy lost against American Heritage on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0.

Vanguard Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-18.

Vanguard Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for American Heritage, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Vanguard Academy will head out on the road to challenge Wasatch Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for American Heritage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Draper APA at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give the Patriots their first taste of in-conference action this season.
