Mechanicsburg suffers seventh straight loss on the road

Recap: Mechanicsburg Indians vs. Greeneview Rams

The Mechanicsburg Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 72-54 fall against Greeneview. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mechanicsburg in their matchups with Greeneview: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, Mechanicsburg still got an impressive performance from Lane Poland, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Deacon Meade, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.

Mechanicsburg bumped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Greeneview, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Mechanicsburg will be playing at home against Southeastern Local at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southeastern Local has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 167 points over their last three games. As for Greeneview, they will head out on the road to face off against Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
