It was a good run, but Pasco unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Zephyrhills Bulldogs by a score of 51-49. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 58-56.

Pasco's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TJ Gebru, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Miller, who went 8 for 16 en route to 20 points.

Even though they lost, Pasco smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive matches.

Pasco's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Zephyrhills, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Pasco has already played their next contest, a 52-46 defeat against Anclote on the 31st. As for Zephyrhills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-55 loss against Cypress Creek on the 3rd.
