The Sebastopol Bobcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Scott Central Rebels at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sebastopol will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
On Friday, Sebastopol was able to grind out a solid win over Philadelphia, taking the game 7-2.

Luke McGarrity was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. McGarrity is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Connally Gaddis, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Scott Central won against Mount Olive on Monday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Scott Central beat Mount Olive by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.
J Waston and L Richmond made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Waston pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Richmond pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). At the plate, Waston scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3, while Richmond scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That run marked the first that Richmond scored this season.
In other batting news, Scott Central got a massive performance out of C Burks, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. J Nealy was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Scott Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Sebastopol pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Scott Central, their record is now 3-12.
Saturday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Sebastopol has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .450. However, it's not like Scott Central struggles in that department as they've averaged .475. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Sebastopol came out on top in a nail-biter against Scott Central in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 13-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sebastopol since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
