Basketball Recap: Doyline Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Doyline was the 86-46 winner over Georgetown when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Doyline Panthers took a 70-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Georgetown Bulldogs on Thursday.

Doyline's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-4. As for Georgetown, they pushed their record up to 24-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

When Doyline and Georgetown next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Doyline will face off against Simsboro and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Georgetown will try to stop Choudrant's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
