Volleyball Recap: Zoe Vanderweele Key Part of Team Effort in Sundevils Win

Charleston Collegiate won the last time they faced Charleston Math & Science and things went their way on Friday too. The Sundevils put the hurt on the Riptide with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Charleston Collegiate was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-0, 25-0.

Charleston Collegiate's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zoe VanderWeele led the charge by getting six kills, three blocks, and two aces. Another player making a difference was Lyden Scapaletto, who had four digs and four aces.
