Baseball Recap: Argonaut Triumphs

Argonaut lost to Calaveras back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Argonaut Mustangs walked away with an 8-5 win over the Calaveras Red Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

The team relied heavily on Clayton Hardy, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

Argonaut's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Calaveras, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Argonaut will take on Cosumnes Oaks at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Calaveras, they will square off against Hughson at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
