Basketball Recap: Indian Springs Extends Winning Streak to Four

Indian Springs extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Oriyah Clay. The Indian Springs Thunderbirds blew past the Tonopah Muckers 48-25 on Friday thanks in part to Clay, who almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine boards. The game was her fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Karmyn Guerino was another key player, putting up four points and seven steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Despite the loss, Tonopah still got an impressive performance from Trinity Blackburn, who posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Blackburn a new career-high in assists (four).

Indian Springs' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Tonopah, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Indian Springs beat Tonopah by a score of 28-27 on Monday.
