Basketball Recap: Estero Comes Up Short

Estero was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the Neumann Celtics. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Celtics apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Estero's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Neumann, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

Estero will be playing in front of their home fans against Island Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Island Coast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Neumann, they will venture away from home to take on Gulf Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
