Volleyball Recap: Alleman Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Alleman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Moline Maroons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Maroons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Alleman started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-15, 25-22.

Alleman's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Moline, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-11.

Coming up, Alleman will challenge Central DeWitt at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Moline, they are taking a road trip to take on Quincy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
