Basketball Recap: Highlands Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Highlands proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 20) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Vacaville Christian Falcons out 49-47. That's more bragging rights for the Scots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Vacaville Christian still got an impressive performance from Brian Laxamana, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Taiyo Douglas, who posted five points in addition to five boards and three steals.
