Northridge lost against Viewmont back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Northridge Knights fell 73-61 to the Viewmont Vikings.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cael Lake, who went 8-for-17 en route to 22 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Jay Oliver, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.
Drezdon Jensen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Viewmont, going 9-for-17 on his way to 21 points along with seven boards and three steals. Jensen's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Britain Bredthauer also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
Northridge dropped their record down to 7-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Viewmont, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
