Volleyball Recap: Anzar Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Anzar had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Hollister Haybalers on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Anzar took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-21.

The victory (which was Hollister's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Anzar will square off against Palma at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palma will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Anzar surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hollister, they will take on Mt. Madonna at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
