Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mountain View Toros. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Toros earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Liberty will welcome Tucson High Magnet School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Maryvale at 5:30 p.m. on March 18th.
