Baseball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Mt. Pleasant faced off against Evergreen Valley on Thursday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost five in a row.

Isaiah Arroyo made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Mt. Pleasant will be playing at home against Lincoln at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Evergreen Valley, they will head out to square off against Westmont at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
