While Glenmora's  win against Avoyelles Charter wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Glenmora Wildcats skirted past the Avoyelles Charter Vikings  15-14. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
The team  relied heavily on  Avery Fuller, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and two  doubles. Those  doubles were  her first of the season.  Wendy Dupre was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
 Glenmora  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .575. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Avoyelles Charter only posted  an  OBP of  .395.
The  victory snapped Glenmora's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 4-3 record. As for Avoyelles Charter,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-8.
 Coming up,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as Glenmora Wildcats  challenge  Calvin Cougars at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Avoyelles Charter, they will challenge Oak Hill at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
