Basketball Recap: Sugar Creek Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ignite Athletics last Friday, Sugar Creek Christian Academy came back down to earth. Sugar Creek Christian Academy fell 67-59 to Ross County Christian Academy on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for Sugar Creek Christian Academy in their matchups with Ross County Christian Academy: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Sugar Creek Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Will Salyers, who posted 21 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Samuel Wheeler was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 14 boards.

Sugar Creek Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Ross County Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.

Looking ahead, Sugar Creek Christian Academy will welcome Bloomingdale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Sugar Creek Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season.
