Basketball Recap: Ezekiel Marier Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Gulliver Prep

Raines' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ezekiel Marier, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amauri Walton, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Gulliver Prep still got an impressive performance from Champ Smith, who went 10-for-19 on his way to 26 points and four steals. That was a full 44.8% of the Raiders' points, marking the fourth time in a row Smith has had more than a third of the team's points. Easton McCarthy-Levy also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Raines now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Gulliver Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
