It was a good run, but Montesano unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Bellevue Christian Vikings, falling 52-29. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Vikings are ranked 25th).

Montesano's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6. As for Bellevue Christian, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Montesano is taking a road trip to face off against Rochester at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Montesano is facing Rochester at the right time seeing as Rochester is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Bellevue Christian, they will challenge Seattle Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellevue Christian will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Seattle Christian will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's game.
