Foster Whisman posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Shelby County's success: when he posts at least eight strikeouts the team is 2-1 (and 8-16 when he doesn't).
