Softball Recap: Altavista Comes Up Short

Chatham hit Altavista with a six-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Colonels fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 6-5. The Colonels have struggled against the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Altavista's record now sits at 3-8. As for Chatham, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.
