Basketball Recap: White Oak Takes a Loss

White Oak lost against Troup back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The White Oak Roughnecks were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to the Troup Tigers.

White Oak's loss dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Troup, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Coming up, White Oak will head out to face off against Tatum at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Tatum's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 16 games. As for Troup, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers take on the Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Sabine knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Troup likes a good challenge.
