Baseball Recap: Pelion Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ridge Spring-Monetta last Monday, Pelion came back down to earth. The Pelion Panthers came up short against the Midland Valley Mustangs on Friday, falling 13-0.

Pelion saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Northcutt, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Pelion's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Midland Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Pelion Panthers take on Swansea Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Midland Valley, they will challenge Gray Collegiate Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be Gray Collegiate Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
