Softball Recap: Watkins Memorial Warriors vs. Lincoln Golden Lions        
        
		
            
 Watkins Memorial put another one in the bag  on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lincoln Golden Lions  a   13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Watkins Memorial, who have now won 14 contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Maleya Thompson and  Allison Langwasser did most of the damage at the plate:  Thompson  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances, while  Langwasser  went 4-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Kyliee Trouton, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Watkins Memorial pushed their record up to 22-0 with that  win, which was their 24th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Lincoln, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 16-9 record  this season.
 Watkins Memorial will be playing in front of their home fans against Heath at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Watkins Memorial is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9  runs per game  this season. As for Lincoln, they are on the road again  on Thursday to play Licking Heights at 5:15  p.m.
