Football Recap: East Piles Up the Points Against Juan Diego Catholic

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East). They blew past the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle 70-27 on Friday. This was payback for the Leopards, who suffered a 43-24 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for East and bumps their season record up to 2-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for Juan Diego Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
