Baseball Recap: Wilkes-Barre Wins Going Away Against Williamsport

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wilkes-Barre walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Williamsport Millionaires on Friday as they made off with a 9-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolfpack.

The team relied heavily on Jake Howe, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Koleton Davies, who earned two runs and one stolen base.

Wilkes-Barre's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Williamsport, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.

As of now, neither Wilkes-Barre nor the Millionaires have any future games scheduled.
