Foster took a 25-point loss the last time they faced off against Stafford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons pulled ahead with a 44-43 photo finish over the Spartans on Monday. The victory was just business as usual for the Falcons, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Foster's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but AJ Patterson led the charge by going 7-for-11 to rack up 15 points and five steals. David Tobar was another key player, shooting 63% from the field on his way to 12 points.

Foster's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Foster won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fort Bend Clements at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stafford, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on STX at 4:30 p.m. on December 4.
