The win also thrust it into the power rankings, where the team now holds the 19th spot.

On paper, the match between Lakeville North (1st in the power rankings) and Wayzata (10th) looked as though it might be one of the more compelling ones, but things did not play out that way on the field. Lakeville North took its game against Wayzata by a confident 42 - 13 score. At 29 points, that marked Lakeville North's largest margin of victory so far this year.

The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Edina (18th in the power rankings) and Minnetonka (4th). Both teams are entering with last-week wins under their belts. Only one team will win this week, so we'll find out which team fails to repeat its success.
