Basketball Recap: Wilbur Cross Takes a Loss

Wilbur Cross was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Cheshire Rams on the road by a 61-44 margin. If the Governors were looking for revenge after losing 51-39 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wilbur Cross' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cheshire, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Wilbur Cross and Platt will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Cheshire, they will be home for the holidays to greet Norwalk at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
